The Toughbook Truck Hits the Road to Accelerate FirstNet Adoption

As public safety maps out its wireless strategy and consider FirstNet adoption, Panasonic is here to help – that’s why we’re hitting the road with AT&T and Sierra Wireless. The Toughbook Truck is 40 feet of FirstNet education designed and outfitted to offer an immersive mobile experience, and the nationwide tour is underway!

In each city the truck visits, the public safety community will be able to explore how Toughbook complements the FirstNet mission. As a FirstNet Dealer, Panasonic can perform FirstNet activations, helping agencies seamlessly make the transition to FirstNet with industry-leading rugged devices on a FirstNet rate plan.

Panasonic has a longstanding relationship with public sector organizations, providing a diverse array of reliable hardware that they’ve come to know and trust. But we’re more than just hardware – as a full-service technology vendor, we ensure you have the hardware, software, services and support needed to get the job done. With the introduction of FirstNet, we’re available to help first responders and those who support them every step of the way.

FirstNet helps public safety communicate and share information over a highly reliable and highly secure network platform, especially during emergency situations, offering priority access and, as applicable, preemption when it matters most. A trusted partner can help ensure FirstNet adoption is seamless. Panasonic’s goal is to educate, equip and empower the public safety workforce – primary users such as law enforcement, fire fighters and EMS as well as secondary users such as healthcare, transportation and utilities workers – with the right information, tools and technology to support the implementation of FirstNet.
