Steve is responsible for implementing product marketing and development strategies for Panasonic's professional P2 family of 1080p HD camcorders, P2 memory cards, recorders and workflow tools. Steve also manages Panasonic's new AVCCAM Recorder and POVCAMs (point of view) camera, as well as Panasonic's new professional 3D Production Monitor. Steve has launched some of Panasonic's most innovative products and technologies, including the P2 HD VariCam® cinema camcorders and P2 Mobile. He also drove marketing strategy on the AVC-Intra 100 compression codec (H.264 High 10 / High 4:2:2 Intra Profile), which provides master video quality, along with the efficiency of a file-based P2 workflow. He has worked closely with leading film, broadcast, post production and multimedia organizations in finding the perfect blend of cost / workflow efficiency and high quality. Steve serves as a speaker and presenter on panels at film festivals, broadcast and media industry events. He graduated from California State University-Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Film and he has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
