Leading the Channel Charge: CRN Recognizes Panasonic Mobility Team Members for Partner Program Enhancements

dominick2.jpgCRN has recognized Kay Stewart and Christy Sacco for their leadership in strengthening the mobility channel program. They played an integral role in enhancing several program initiatives that ultimately allow our partners to grow their business. Kay Stewart, director of distribution and channel operations, was recognized out of 545 female channel executives for the Power 100 list. The Power 100 represents an elite subset of female executives that help drive channel success. CRN recognized Christy Sacco, channel program manager, for the 2017 Women of the Channel list, and their editors selected Kay and Christy for their accomplishments and expertise in the channel and their future impact on the technology industry.

Our partner community is extremely important to us, which is why during this past year we’ve revamped our partner program initiatives to provide better support and help our authorized resellers increase revenue streams.

  • For starters, we established a new channel management team that will serve as our partners’ dedicated resource for questions and training and as their advocate within Panasonic. The dedicated team consists of five channel account managers that are 100 percent focused on partner needs, including increasing their profitability from the sale of our growing family of Toughbook mobile computers, 2-in-1s, tablets and handhelds.
  • We have also delivered an enhanced channel program with increased benefits for our partners including:
    1. Access to marketing development funds to support new lead generation initiatives, training and other marketing activities to help accelerate sales of Panasonic mobility products
    2. An improved demonstration unit purchase program to lower the cost and increase the quantity and type of products available to purchase for demonstration purposes.

We’re able to add these new initiatives thanks to our exceptional channel leadership team, which has been fully invested in revamping our program offerings. With more than 27 years of channel experience, Christy is a dynamic part of the Panasonic mobility group, responsible for the success of our channel programs, operations and communications. In the past year, she’s been focused on reinvesting in the channel and empowering resellers and distributors through new and improved channel programs. “I’m honored to be awarded this recognition by CRN,” said Christy. “I look forward to continuing to enhance our programs and operational efficiencies to better support our mobility resellers and distributors.”

For Kay, this is the third year in a row that she’s been selected for the Power 100. Kay is responsible for managing the various aspects of the program, including partner relations and distribution, and she oversaw the development of the new initiatives established last year. “I’m ecstatic to be included on the Power 100 for the third time,” said Kay. “It’s such an honor to be recognized by my peers for my work in redefining the direction and overall operations of Panasonic’s new channel vision.”

These recognitions are not just well-deserved; they also underscore our commitment to continually improving and investing in our partner channel. Kudos to Christy and Kay for their dedication to driving channel growth and strengthening a program that met Panasonic mobility business unit’s strategic goals over the past year.
