Australian Museum Brings the Past to Life with Immersive Digital Exhibits

The Australian Museum houses more than 18 million objects that showcase the environmental and cultural histories of the Australian and Pacific regions. With a focus on inspiring visitors through lifelike images, the museum installed large-screen multimedia walls onto both sides of their tunnel-like hallway. Because there is very little space behind the multimedia walls, large images have to be projected from an extremely short distance. Scase-museum-aussieo, how did they work with that restriction?  The museum drew upon the PT-DZ870 projector with the ET-DLE030 ultra-short throw lens, which allowed them to create images from behind the screen.
