Vegas Sees New Stars: Panasonic Unveils Latest AV Technology at InfoComm 2014, Wins Three Awards

InfoComm 2014 took Las Vegas by storm, with nearly a thousand exhibitors and more than 37,000 attendees (a nearly 6 percent increase from 2013!) from around the world convening at the Las Vegas Convention Center to marvel at the latest AV technologies. Needless to say, InfoComm 2014 was an eye-catching success!

For us, this year’s excitement was driven by 4K technology, ultra-short throw lenses, projection mapping and digital signage applications, as well as the latest (and thinnest!) video walls. We shared a couple nifty Vine videos from on-site, including one that will give you a heart attack: the 4K Display Metal Ball Test.

Additionally, our immersive 3D rollercoaster demo took attendees to dizzying heights! Created with four Panasonic projectors that were paired with ultra-short throw lenses and EON software, this same solution could create a similar 3D experience for training in military, public safety and aviation applications.

We also unveiled four new projector products, including the PT-VZ570 Series projector, the ETD75LE90 ultra short-throw lens for 3-chip DLP projectors, the PT-EZ580 projector and a new ET-ELW22 short-throw lens. Additionally, we launched three new professional display products: the TH-55LFV70 LED Video Wall Display, the TH-47LFX6N Outdoor LED display and an expanded LFE7 LED backlit Display Series.

Best of all, our technology received applause from not just conference attendees, but the experts as well: Panasonic projectors took home three awards! Check out the wins below:
