New Reseller Program Helps Partners Equip Customers with Complete B2B Technology Solutions

Customers across numerous industries, including public safety, education, food service, and healthcare, have a unique set of business needs. Panasonic works with a partner ecosystem made up of integrators, resellers, distributors and third-party software and hardware providers to ensure customers are equipped with the right technology solution to meet those needs. During our annual Panasonic Solutions Partner Summit 2012 held last week October 17-19 in Phoenix, AZ, we introduced our resellers to our new Panasonic Authorized Reseller Program that we created to support this ecosystem.

The new program creates alignment between the Panasonic sales force and its channel community, provides a consistent program experience for all authorized resellers, and offers valuable incentives relevant to each type of partner, product and addressable market. The program also helps promote top performing resellers to the end-user market. These core program elements will give our partners what they need to grow their business and equip their customers with a technology solution for nearly any application.

In April, Panasonic underwent an organizational change in North America which created a new B2B solutions company, Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. The new company’s portfolio contains a diverse set of solutions, including unified business communications, mobile computing, security and surveillance, retail point-of-sale, office productivity, high definition visual conferencing, visual communications (professional projectors, displays, digital signage) and HD and 3D video production, intended for a wide array of B2B end users and applications. The new Authorized Reseller Program brings all of these products under one consistent set of terms and conditions.

In addition to being introduced to our new reseller program, partners also had the opportunity to meet with our executive team in small group sessions, forge market alliances with our third-party partners to widen their competitive advantage, and exchange new ideas and share best practices with other resellers. We also recognized our reseller partners who demonstrated an outstanding year, both in revenue growth and in developing new market opportunities for Panasonic’s broad product portfolio.
